On 25–26 March 2026 in Siem Reap, 19 farmers included youth and women came together in Kandoal Village, Svay Cheik Commune, Angkor Thom District to strengthen their voices through Module 1 of the S.E.L.L Training Program: “Clear and Confident Communication.”
Over two intensive days, participants explored how to:
1.Express ideas clearly and confidently
2. Practice active listening to build trust
3. Strengthen meaningful communication in both personal and professional settings
This training, “Social Life Skills for Effective Local Leadership (S.E.L.L)”, is designed to empower farmers with essential life skills that strengthen leadership and sustainable community impact. It is implemented by Heifer Cambodia’s LSE (Kumdamlay Organization) through the CSO4G Project, funded by the European Union.
It was inspiring to see women taking the lead—building confidence, sharing experiences, and supporting each other to grow.
What’s next?
Our trained focal facilitators will lead Module 2: Strategic Problem-Solving and Decision-Making in the 3rd week of April 2026.
