Kundamlay and Heifer Cambodia Support ACs facilitating a multi-stakeholder dialogue

Kundamlay and Heifer Cambodia supported Agricultural Cooperatives in facilitating a multi-stakeholder dialogue that brought vegetable and poultry producers, buyers, and commune and village authorities in Kampong Thom province.

On August 20, 2026, Heifer Cambodia supported Agricultural Cooperatives in facilitating a multi-stakeholder dialogue that brought vegetable and poultry producers, buyers, and commune and village authorities in Kampong Thom province.

The activity was conducted under the Civil Society Organizations for Good Governance and Green Growth in Cambodia (CSO4G) project, funded by the European Union (EU). The project is implemented in Kampong Thom, Kampong Chhnang, and Siem Reap provinces.

The dialogue provided an important platform for farmers and other stakeholders to raise their voices, share information on agricultural market demand and supply, discuss key challenges, and jointly identify practical solutions. Through open discussion and collaboration, participants explored opportunities to strengthen local vegetable and poultry value chains, improve connections between producers and buyers, and create better market opportunities for smallholder farmers.

The activity also contributes to the CSO4G project’s broader efforts to strengthen agricultural cooperatives, improve their governance and business development services, and enhance their capacity to advocate for and support smallholder farmers.
